In connection with the military actions and the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine, thousands of families left their place of residence and migrated from the danger zone in Kyiv. Accordingly, there was a need to support and provide the necessary assistance to internally displaced persons.

Charitable organization "Fund “Aspern" with the support of foreign sponsors has launched the project "Support for the families of IDPs with children", whose purpose is to:

1) providing families with children with a range of social services aimed at leaving families with difficult life situations, the consequences of which they are unable to overcome independently with the available means and opportunities;

2) provision of temporary housing (sub-program "Communal apartment of Aspern");

3) protection of the rights and interests of families.

Temporary residence of a family of migrants with children to the "Communal apartment of Aspern" can direct state structures of the Darnytsky district of Kyiv. Families of migrants with children can live in the "Communal apartment of Aspern" for the time necessary to resolve difficult life situations, but not more than 1 year in the case of stationary residence.
